Active Safety is a New Zealand brand that provides safety equipment to construction sites and other businesses (B2B focus). They came to us late 2020, after they had a bad experience with another agency that implemented their site. The website we inherited was poorly implemented, no SCA best practices were followed, the site performed badly, it sometimes crashed while navigating and their organic traffic was null (SEO best practices were not being met). There was a big challenge in getting the site running as expected and generating some organic traffic.
We took ownership of their web store and reimplemented key pieces of it following best practices using SCA Extensibility Layer. After a lot of hard work we managed to stabilize their website and could upgrade them to the latest SCA version to the moment, implemented best practices for SEO and help them in importing item meta data into their NetSuite backend. Now, they are one of the top sellers for safety equipment in New Zealand organically.
