The Challenge: Outdated Design and Limited Site Management Flexibility

Before working with UnlockCommerce, DASH Medical’s website was limited by an older SuiteCommerce theme that restricted their ability to update content, showcase products dynamically, and deliver a modern shopping experience. Their team wanted a more flexible and visually engaging platform that aligned with their brand and supported ongoing updates without requiring deep technical intervention.
 
Without implementing a more adaptive solution, DASH Medical risked falling behind in usability and branding, particularly as SuiteCommerce continues to evolve. Maintaining their site’s design and functionality would have required more manual work, and content updates would remain time-consuming.

The Solution: UnlockCommerce Theme and Strategic Enhancements

In terms of the design, we provided DASH Medical with a more updated and modern-looking web store using the UnlockCommerce theme. The goal was to modernize DASH Medical’s online store, streamline updates, and improve product discovery. Now, they are able to maintain and personalize their site more through the editable content in the Site Management Tools.
 
They now benefit from a NetSuite-compatible theme that will stay up to date as NetSuite releases updates. With the implementation of the UnlockCommerce theme, DASH Medical has more accessible options for making modifications and updates through the Site Management Tools.

Key Features Implemented

The UnlockCommerce theme’s layout was customized further to meet DASH Medical’s specific needs.

To improve the shopping experience, we implemented the following features:

Modernized Layout and Enhanced Homepage

  • Replaced the homepage slider with three clickable block images for a cleaner and more intuitive layout.

  • Added an MP4 video to engage visitors and highlight DASH Medical’s brand.

Improved Product Browsing and Conversion Tools

  • Multi Add to Cart: Allows customers to add multiple products/items at once, simplifying large order purchases.

NetSuite SuiteCommerce Extension Configuration

Extensions such as Item Badges and Product Comparison were implemented and configured:

  • Product Comparison: Customers can easily compare product specifications through this feature, enhanced with improved visuals (colors and spacing).

  • Item Badges Extension: Highlights “Best Sellers” and other featured products to guide customer attention.

Product Detail Page Enhancements

  • Request Free Sample Button: Connects directly to a form where customers can easily submit sample requests. Populating a custom field on the item record with the relevant link automatically displays the button on the Product Detail Page (PDP).

  • Downloadable PDFs in PDPs: Customers can now download PDF files from a subtab on the product detail pages (PDPs).

  • YouTube Video Integration: Allows multiple videos at the end of the image carousel of the product page for richer product presentation. View example

Content and Compliance Improvements

  • Updated FAQ and Privacy Policy pages with improved design.

  • Added new content zones on product listing pages for five clickable images, used by DASH Medical to highlight products or promotions.

All enhancements were seamlessly integrated into NetSuite, ensuring full compatibility with SuiteCommerce updates and giving DASH Medical’s team more control through Site Management Tools.
