UnlockCommerce Is Now a
Shopify Partner

Big news: UnlockCommerce officially became a Shopify Partner!

For us, this milestone is more than just a badge. It represents the next step in helping fast-growing brands scale their eCommerce operations with the right mix of flexibility, performance, and back-office integration.

So, what does that mean for our clients and partners? Let’s break it down.

Expanding Into Shopify

We recently launched a dedicated Shopify practice, and becoming a Shopify Partner is a big step forward in that journey. Becoming a Shopify Plus Partner marks an important step in our journey, solidifying our role as a trusted partner for high-growth brands that need support implementing, scaling, or maintaining their Shopify Plus stores.

NetSuite Customers Remain Our Main Focus

But here’s the key point: NetSuite customers remain our main focus. Backed by over a decade of NetSuite expertise, we help manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors sell online. Smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

We’ve always been committed to SuiteCommerce, and our goal is still to be the top partner for SuiteCommerce implementations. That doesn’t change. What this new milestone does is give us the ability to support a broader set of NetSuite users, specifically those running Shopify + NetSuite who don’t currently have the right partner in place.

Why This Matters for NetSuite Customers

Many companies love the flexibility of Shopify for their storefront while relying on NetSuite as their ERP. The challenge here is making sure those two worlds work seamlessly together.

That’s where we come in. Whether it’s a new Shopify Plus implementation or ongoing maintenance, UnlockCommerce can step in and provide the same level of technical depth, performance optimization, and support we’ve always delivered with SuiteCommerce.
By becoming a Plus Partner, UnlockCommerce is recognized as a Shopify agency that can help merchants:
  • Launch or migrate to Shopify Plus with confidence
  • Optimize storefront performance for both B2C and B2B
  • Integrate Shopify with NetSuite ERP
  • Build custom extensions to streamline everyday operations

Why We Became a Shopify Partner

For us, the decision to become a Shopify Partner was a natural step forward. B2B commerce continues to expand year after year, with more companies investing in digital channels to serve their business customers. At the same time, Shopify has doubled down on B2B, investing $1.7 billion in research and development in 2023 alone, with a strong focus on enhancing B2B features and capabilities.
In Q1 of 2025, Shopify’s B2B gross merchandise volume (GMV) surged by 109% year-over-year, with major enterprise clients like VF Corp’s Dickies, JanSport, and luxury group Kering Beauty joining the platform.
Given that our core expertise lies in helping businesses build and scale their B2B eCommerce experiences, the alignment was clear. As Shopify grows its market share in B2B and pushes the platform forward with heavy innovation, we saw an opportunity to bring that value to our clients. Becoming a Shopify Plus Partner wasn’t just about expanding our portfolio, it was about meeting our customers where they’re headed and ensuring we can deliver the most effective solutions for the future of B2B commerce.

NetSuite ERP Leads the Way

NetSuite remains front and center for us. It’s where we’ve built our reputation: over 250 commerce projects delivered, 60+ proprietary extensions, and a 95% customer satisfaction score.

The addition of Shopify Plus doesn’t replace that focus, it enhances it. With Shopify in the mix, we can cover even more ground for NetSuite customers, whether they’re running SuiteCommerce, Shopify, or a combination of both.

“Our mission has always been to empower companies with seamless, scalable eCommerce solutions,” says Joaquín Varela, CEO of UnlockCommerce. “Joining the Shopify Plus Partner program validates our ability to deliver best-in-class experiences not just for SuiteCommerce users, but also for brands growing on Shopify Plus.”

What’s Next

We’re excited to keep growing this practice, building out a team dedicated to Shopify Plus while continuing to double down on what we do best with SuiteCommerce.

If you’re a NetSuite customer using Shopify (or thinking about it) and you’re looking for the right partner, we’d love to talk.
